Active Thailand operates two camp sites in beautiful and secluded location in Northern Thailand, within the vicinity of the city of Chiang Mai.

“Location is important to us! so our camps are located in areas where outdoors can be discovered individually or part of an organized tour”.

For example the Padeng Campsite is located in the Chiangdao area in a valley where 5 different hill-tribe villages are easily reachable by trekking or mountain-biking. The Maetang River Camp is located on the bank of the Maetang river, a great river for white water rafting experience, or to learn river kayak.

Our camps are available for groups only, providing a low priced alternative accommodation suitable for families, students groups and other people in the search of outdoor and nature experience. Our camp sites feature basic comfort facilities meeting western standards, and are kept clean and secure.
