Trip Overview
This tour will take you to the Maetaman elephant camp, located 45 minutes drive from Chiangmai city. Watch the interesting elephant show, experience an elephant riding through surrounding jungle and enjoy a peaceful “bamboo rafting” descent down the lower part of the Maetang river. Buffet lunch included.
Itinerary
Meeting at your hotel with your guide at 08h30. Departure by van to Maetaman valley.
Visit the Maetaman elephant camp, in the Mae Taman valley. The camp is professionally run and well maintained. The staff take good care of the 30 elephants inhabiting the camp. The show is interesting and the ride in the surrounding valley is fun. Experience also a fun “bamboo rafting” and a good buffet lunch.
Around 15h30, we drive back to Chiangmai and drop you off at your hotel.
